Our own Personal Amex Rewards Card Experience -


We've been using American Express (Amex) Rewards Cards for a few years now and it's been great! Now I certainly wouldn't recommend anyone use a credit card to spend willy nilly... but using a credit card that offers Rewards for Spending can be really useful but you MUST MUST MUST pay the full balance off EVERY month to avoid any charges to make it worth while!! If you don't think you can pay off the FULL balance EVERY month - don't get a credit card!!


We personally use the Amex Rewards Card to pay for all our grocery shopping, holidays and online purchases and the Rewards soon stack up. We have a monthly direct debit to pay the FULL BALANCE - so NO FEES!!


You can cash in the points to use at hundreds of stores including M&S, one of our personal favourites, as we can purchase vouchers with our points to use in-store which regularly gets us around £25 per month off our grocery shopping.
